Hanes
Sefydlwyd Greggs gan John Gregg yn yr 1930au, gan ddechrau gyda dim ond un siop yn Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.[1] Dechreuodd y cwmni dyfu yn fuan ar ôl i'w fab, Ian, gymryd drosodd yn dilyn marwolaeth John ym 1964. Roedd y tyfiant yn cynnwys prynu cwmni Thurstons yn Leeds a Price's ym Manceinion yn 1972.[1]
