Stichaeus és un gènere de peixos de la família dels estiquèids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al Pacífic nord-occidental (des del sud del mar d'Okhotsk[5][6] -Hokkaido- i de les illes Kurils fins al mar del Japó[7][8][9][10] -com ara, Honshu-, la badia de Pere el Gran,[11] la península de Corea,[12][13] el mar Groc i la costa pacífica del Japó fins a Tòquio),[14] el Pacífic nord-oriental (el sud de la Colúmbia Britànica -el Canadà-)[15][16] i l'Atlàntic nord (des de l'oceà Àrtic[17][18][19] fins a l'oest de Groenlàndia[20][21][22] i Maine[23][24] -els Estats Units-).[25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35]
