L'espècie tipus és Paraplanaria dactyligera.

Descripció

Es tracta d'un planàrid similar a Phagocata amb un diverticle musculo-glandular posterior de l'atri. Els testicles de Paraplanaria s'estenen fins a la regió de la boca.[1]
