Els optoacobladors són components electrònics que aïllen elèctricament els circuits als quals estan connectats. Consten d'un encapsulat dintre del qual hi ha un RED (díode LED d'infrarojos) i un component receptor de llum com un fotodíode o fototransistor.[1]
