Congoglanis és un gènere de peixos pertanyent a la família dels amfílids i a l'ordre dels siluriformes.[2]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica

Són peixos d'aigua dolça, demersals i de clima tropical, els quals viuen a Àfrica:[3] la conca del riu Congo,[4][5] incloent-hi les cascades Boyoma,[6][7] el llac Mweru[8] i els rius Lukuga -emissari del llac Tanganyika[9]-, Luapula,[10] Aruwimi,[11][12] Chambeshi, Luongo, Bomu,[1] Kasai,[1][13][14] Cuango,[1][15] Lualaba,[1][16] Ubangui[1][17] i Uele[11][18] a la República Centreafricana,[1][19] la República del Congo,[1][20] la República Democràtica del Congo,[1][21][22] Angola[23][24] i Zàmbia.[1][25][26]
