Perućac (jezero)

Pogled na jezero sa Tare

Perućac je vještačko jezero u Bosni i Hercegovini i Srbiji kod mjesta Perućac, općina Bajina Bašta, Srbija. Nastalo je pregrađivanjem toka Drine, za potrebe hidroelektrane "Bajina Bašta". Akumulacija je dugačka 54 km i prostire se kroz kanjon do Višegrada. Širina kanjona varira od 100 m do 1100 m. Kanjon počinje na 7 km od HE. Maksimalna dubina jezera prelazi 80 m. Obala i veći dio dna su kameniti. Obala je strma, tako da, na par metara od obale, dubina dostiže između tri i osam metara, zavisno od vodostaja. Sredina jezera je granica između Bosne i Hercegovine i Srbije.[1].

Jezero se nalazi u prirodnom zavoju kanjona rijeke Drine i obavija planinu Taru, mijenjajući smjer toka od sjevera prema jugoistoku. Na desnoj obali jezera nalazi se Nacionalni park Tara dok se sa druge strane nalazi Nacionalni park Drina.[2] Jezero obiluje raznim vrstama ribe i pogodno je za sportski ribolov.
