সীরাতে সৈয়দ আহমদ শহীদ (উর্দু: سیرت سید احمد شہیدؒ‎‎) আবুল হাসান আলী হাসানী নদভীর লিখিত প্রথম ঐতিহাসিক জীবনী সাহিত্য। বিষয় অনুযায়ী উর্দু ভাষায় এটি লেখকের প্রথম কাজ।[১][২] ২৪ বছর বয়সে তিনি গ্রন্থটি রচনা করেন। ২ খণ্ডে রচিত এই গ্রন্থের প্রথম খণ্ডে রয়েছে ১২৫ অধ্যায় ও ৫৮৮ পৃষ্ঠা এবং ২য় খণ্ডে ১৫০ অধ্যায় ও ৫৮৮ পৃষ্ঠা।[৩] এতে সৈয়দ আহমদ শহীদের জীবন ও সাংস্কারিক কার্যক্রমের বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা লিপিবদ্ধ হয়েছে। গ্রন্থটি রচিত হয় ১৯৩৯ সালে।[৪] এর পূর্বে ১৯৩১ সালে আলী নদভী আল মানারে সৈয়দ আহমদ বেরলভি সম্পর্কে একটি নিবন্ধও প্রকাশ করেছিলেন।[৫]

বর্ণনা

আলী নদভী ছিলেন সৈয়দ আহমদ শহীদের বংশধর। আহমদ শহীদের জীবনের নানা গল্প বিভিন্ন বিক্ষিপ্ত বই এবং তার পরিবারের বড় সদস্যদের স্মৃতিতে ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে ছিল। আলী নদভী সমস্ত প্রামাণিক উৎস থেকে বইটি সংকলন করেছেন। বইটিতে সৈয়দ আহমদ শহীদের সেনাবাহিনীর নৈতিক ও ধর্মীয় মেজাজ এবং দৈনন্দিন জীবনের চিত্রও তুলে ধরা হয়েছে, তাদের আধ্যাত্মিক এবং নৈতিক মূল্যবোধ রয়েছে এবং ইতিহাসে তা স্মরণ করার যোগ্য। বইটি পাঠকের হৃদয়ে ঈমানের অনুভূতি জাগিয়ে তোলে এবং তাকে ধর্মের প্রকৃত চেতনা অনুসরণ করতে প্ররোচিত করে।[১]
