এক খণ্ড জমি ২০০৪ সালে মুক্তিপ্রাপ্ত বাংলাদেশী বাংলা ভাষার চলচ্চিত্র। চলচ্চিত্রটি পরিচালনা করেছেন শাহজাহান চৌধুরী। কবি শাহাবুদ্দীন নাগরীর কবিতা এক খণ্ড জমি অবলম্বনে ছায়াছবিটির চিত্রনাট্য, সংলাপ, সঙ্গীত পরিচালনা ও গানে কণ্ঠ দিয়েছেন কবি নিজেই।[১] মধ্যবিত্ত এক দম্পতির কষ্টের চিত্র বর্ণিত হয়েছে কবিতাটিতে। ছায়াছবিটিতে দম্পতি চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেছেন চম্পা ও রাইসুল ইসলাম আসাদ।[২] এছাড়াও অন্যান্য চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেন আনোয়ার হোসেন, সিরাজ হায়দার, রাশেদা চৌধুরী প্রমুখ।[১]

কাহিনী সংক্ষেপ

আমিনুল হক ও লতিফা দম্পতি তাদের দুই সন্তান নিয়ে ঢাকায় বসবাস করে। আমিনুল হক একজন সৎ সরকারি কর্মকর্তা। মধ্যবিত্ত পরিবারের এই দম্পতির অনেক দিনের শখ ঢাকায় এক খণ্ড জমি কিনবে। আমিনুল হক নিয়মিত খবরের কাগজে চোখ রাখে কোথাও অল্প দামে জমি কিনতে পাওয়া যাবে কিনা তা দেখতে। জমির দালাল রমজানের মাধ্যমে সে একটা জমির খোঁজ পায়। কিন্তু টাকার অভাবে বায়না করতে পারে না। বর্ষায় জমি দেখতে গিয়ে সে টের পায় আসলে সে জমি মেঘনার একটি অংশ। একদিন সে জ্বর নিয়ে বাড়ি ফেরে। এরই মধ্যে তার ছেলে সোহেল এক পথচারীর ব্যাগ ছিনতাই করতে গিয়ে পুলিশের নজরে চলে আসে। সোহেল আর তার সঙ্গীর নামে পুলিশি ওয়ারেন্ট জারি হয়। এ খবর আমিনুল সহজভাবে নিতে পারে না। অবশেষে জমি আমিনুলের হয় কিন্তু তার বসবাসের জন্য নয়, তার শেষকৃত্যের জন্য। সাড়ে তিন হাত জমি।

নেপথ্য নির্মাণ

২০০৩ সালে একুশে গ্রন্থ মেলায় অন্যপ্রকাশ কবি শাহাবুদ্দীন নাগরীর কবিতা সংকলন আগুনের ফুল ফুটে ঠোঁটে বের করে। বইটিতে ১৪০ লাইনের একটি কবিতা এক খণ্ড জমি অবলম্বনে পরিচালক শাহজাহান চৌধুরী একটি চলচ্চিত্র নির্মাণ করতে চান। এতে কবি আর দ্বিমত করেন নি। এটি কবিতা অবলম্বনে নির্মিত প্রথম বাংলা পূর্ণদৈর্ঘ্য চলচ্চিত্র। কবিতা অবলম্বনে এর আগে তানভীর মোকাম্মেল হুলিয়া নামে একটি স্বল্পদৈর্ঘ্য চলচ্চিত্র নির্মাণ করেন।[১]

মুক্তি

২০০৪ সালের ৮ জুলাই চ্যানেল আই-এ চলচ্চিত্রটির টেলিভিশন প্রিমিয়ার হয়। ২০০৪ সালের ৯ জুলাই থেকে চলচ্চিত্রটি বলাকা সিনেওয়ার্ল্ড-এ প্রদর্শন শুরু হয়।[১]

সঙ্গীত

এক খণ্ড জমি চলচ্চিত্রের সঙ্গীত পরিচালনা করেছেন কবি শাহাবুদ্দীন নাগরী ও আবহ সঙ্গীত পরিচালনা করেছেন শেখ সাদী খান। গানের কথা লিখেছেন কবি শাহাবুদ্দীন নাগরী।[১] গানে কণ্ঠ দিয়েছেন শাহাবুদ্দীন নাগরী নিজেই ও শাকিলা জাফর। গানের অডিও, ভিডিও ও ক্যাসেট বের হয় সাউন্ডটেক-এর ব্যানারে।
