আলেকজান্ডার কানিংহাম (জন্ম ১ মে ১৯৫৫) [১] একজন ব্রিটিশ রাজনীতিবিদ যিনি ২০১০ সাল থেকে স্টকটন নর্থের সংসদ সদস্য (এমপি) হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। লেবার পার্টির একজন সদস্য, তিনি ২০২০ সাল থেকে আদালত ও সাজা সংক্রান্ত ছায়ামন্ত্রী ছিলেন।

প্রারম্ভিক জীবন এবং কর্মজীবন

কানিংহাম স্কটল্যান্ডের হার্থিলে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন এবং অল্প বয়সে ডার্লিংটন, কাউন্টি ডারহামে চলে আসেন। তিনি ব্র্যাঙ্কসাম কমপ্রিহেনসিভ স্কুল এবং কুইন এলিজাবেথ সিক্সথ ফর্ম কলেজে শিক্ষিত হন। কানিংহাম পরে ডার্লিংটন টেকনিক্যাল কলেজে ভর্তি হন, যেখানে তিনি ১৯৭৬ সালে সাংবাদিকতায় একটি সার্টিফিকেট লাভ করেন।[২]

ব্যক্তিগত জীবন

কানিংহাম ১৯৭৭ সাল থেকে ইভালিনকে বিয়ে করেছেন, যিনি ২০১১ সাল থেকে স্টকটন-অন-টিস বরো কাউন্সিলের সদস্য হিসেবে কাজ করেছেন।[৩] তাদের দুই ছেলে আছে।[৪] তিনি একজন খ্রিস্টান।[৫]
