সোয়েটার (উত্তর আমেরিকান ইংরেজি) বা পুলওভার, যাকে জাম্পারও বলা হয় (ব্রিটিশ ইংরেজি এবং অস্ট্রেলীয় ইংরেজি), [১] পোশাকের একটি টুকরো, সাধারণত লম্বা হাতা, বোনা বা ক্রোশেটেড উপাদান দিয়ে তৈরি, যা সোয়েটারের উপরের অংশকে আবৃত করে। শরীর স্লিভলেস হলে, পোশাকটিকে প্রায়ই স্লিপওভার বা সোয়েটার ভেস্ট বলা হয়।

সোয়েটারগুলি প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের এবং শিশুরা পরিধান করে, প্রায়শই একটি শার্ট, ব্লাউজ, টি-শার্ট বা অন্য টপের উপরে, তবে কখনও কখনও ত্বকের সাথে। সোয়েটারগুলি ঐতিহ্যগতভাবে উল দিয়ে তৈরি করা হত কিন্তু এখন তুলা, সিন্থেটিক ফাইবার বা এগুলির যে কোনও সংমিশ্রণ দিয়ে তৈরি করা যেতে পারে। এছাড়াও মৌসুমী সোয়েটার রয়েছে, যেগুলিকে ক্রিসমাসের আশেপাশে প্রায়ই "কুৎসিত সোয়েটার" বলা হয়। [২]
