মো. নুরুল হক মিয়া (প্রফেসর মো. নূরুল হক মিয়া যুক্ত নামে অধিক পরিচিত) (১ জুলাই ১৯৪৪ — ২০ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২১) ঢাকা কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ ও রসায়ন বিভাগের প্রধান ছিলেন। তিনি উচ্চমাধ্যমিক ও ডিগ্রী শ্রেণির পাঠ্যবই রচনার জন্য খ্যাত।

জীবনী

নুরুল হক ১৯৪৪ সালের ১ জুলাই গাজীপুর জেলার শ্রীপুর উপজেলার এক সম্ভ্রান্ত মুসলিম পরিবারে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তার পিতা এলাহি বক্স ও মাতা সালেমুন্নেসা। ১৯৬৭ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে রসায়ন নিয়ে পড়াশুনা সমাপ্ত করেন। ছাত্রজীবনে আব্দুর রাজ্জাক, তোফায়েল আহমেদ তার সহপাঠী ছিলেন।[২]

১৯৬৯ সালে জগন্নাথ কলেজে শিক্ষক হিসেবে যোগদানের মাধ্যমে তার কর্মজীবনের সূচনা হয়। পরবর্তীতে সিলেট এম সি কলেজ, আনন্দ মোহন কলেজ, ময়মনসিংহ, টাংগাইল করটিয়া কলেজ, ঢাকা বিজ্ঞান কলেজ ও ঢাকা কলেজে অধ্যাপনা করেছেন। তিনি ঢাকা কলেজে চার বছর রসায়ন বিভাগের প্রধান ও ২০০১ সালে ভারপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যক্ষ হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিলেন।

রসায়ন নিয়ে বই লেখার জন্য তার খ্যাতি ছিল। উচ্চমাধ্যমিক ও ডিগ্রী শ্রেণির জন্য তার রচিত বইয়ের সংখ্যা ৭টি। ১৯৭৩ থেকে ১৯৯৯ পর্যন্ত এগুলোই একমাত্র পাঠ্যবই ছিল।

ছাত্রজীবন থেকেই তিনি তাবলিগ জামাতের সঙ্গে জড়িত ছিলেন। শিক্ষকতা জীবনে তার ছাত্রদের মধ্যে মার্কিন বিজ্ঞানী এম জাহিদ হাসান উল্লেখযোগ্য।

তিনি শাইখুল হাদীস হিসেবে খ্যাত আজিজুল হকের জামাতা। পারিবারিক জীবনে তিনি দুই ছেলে ও ছয় কন্যার জনক এবং সবাই হাফেজ। এনামুল হক ও এহসানুল হক, ছেলেদ্বয় ইসলামি পণ্ডিত ও জামিয়া রাহমানিয়া আরাবিয়া, ঢাকার শিক্ষক হিসেবে কর্মরত আছেন।[৩]

২০২১ সালের ২০ ফেব্রুয়ারি ঢাকার আজিমপুরস্থ নিজ বাসভবনে তিনি মৃত্যুবরণ করেন। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৭৬ বছর।[৪][৫]
