ইয়ান গ্রে

ইয়ান গ্রে (৫ মে ১৯১৮ - ৫ জুন ১৯৯৬) [১] [২] রাশিয়ান ইতিহাসের একজন নিউজিল্যান্ডে জন্মগ্রহণকারী ইতিহাসবিদ ছিলেন।

জীবনী

তিনি একজন আইনজীবী হিসেবে তার কর্মজীবন শুরু করেন, নিউ সাউথ ওয়েলস বারের একজন সদস্য। ১৯৪১ সালে তিনি অস্ট্রেলিয়ান নৌবাহিনীতে যোগদান করেন এবং লন্ডনের নৌ গোয়েন্দা সংস্থার অ্যাডমিরাল হন, তারপরে সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়নে একজন অফিসার হিসাবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। তিনি রাশিয়ার উত্তরে আড়াই বছর কাজ করেছেন। তিনি ডেপুটি সেক্রেটারি-জেনারেল এবং কমনওয়েলথ পার্লামেন্টারি অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের প্রধান কার্যালয় সেক্রেটারিয়েটের প্রকাশনা সম্পাদক হিসেবে ১৯৬৬ সাল থেকে অবসর গ্রহণের আগ পর্যন্ত দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। ১৯৭১ সালে তিনি সংসদীয় তথ্য ও রেফারেন্স সেন্টার প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন।
