আবদুল হাকিম মিয়া (১৯২৯-২০১৪) বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী লীগের রাজনীতিবিদ, শিল্পপতি ও কুমিল্লা-৭ (বরুড়া) আসনের সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য।[১]

জন্ম ও পারিবারিক জীবন

আব্দুল হাকিম ১৯২৯ কুমিল্লা জেলায় বরুড়া উপজেলার বাগমারা গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তার পিতা সৈয়দ আলী বেপারী। তার ৩ ছেলে ও ৩ মেয়ে।

রাজনৈতিক ও কর্মজীবন

আব্দুল হাকিম ছাত্রজীবন থেকে তিনি আওয়ামীলীগের রাজনীতিতে জড়িয়ে পড়েন। মৃত্যুর আগ পর্যন্ত তিনি বরুড়া উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি পদে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। ১৯৭০ সালে তিনি প্রাদেশিক পরিষদের সরকারের সদস্য নির্বাচিত হয়েছিলেন। ১৯৭১ সালে তিনি মহান স্বাধীনতাযুদ্ধে অংশ নেন। ১৯৭৩ সালের প্রথম জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে তিনি বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী লীগের প্রার্থী হিসেবে তৎকালীন কুমিল্লা-১৩ আসন থেকে সংসদ সদস্য নির্বাচিত হন।[২] সর্বশেষ জুন ১৯৯৬ সালের সপ্তম জাতীয় নির্বাচনে তিনি আওয়ামীলীগের মনোনয়ন নিয়ে কুমিল্লা-৭ (বরুড়া) আসন থেকে সংসদ সদস্য নির্বাচিত হন।[১][৩]

১৯৯১ ও ২০০১ সালের জাতীয় নির্বাচনে তিনি পরাজিত হন।[৩]

মৃত্যু

আব্দুল হাকিম ২৩ মার্চ ২০১৪ ঢাকার একটি হাসপাতালে মৃত্যুবরণ করেছেন।[৪]
