অনিতা মুলার-কোহেন

অনিতা মুলার-কোহেন (জন্মের সময় রোজেনজুইগ) (১৮৯০-১৯৬২) একজন অস্ট্রিয়ান বংশোদ্ভূত ইহুদি মহিলা, যিনি ১৯৩৫ সালে ফিলিস্তিনের তেল আবিবে চলে আসেন। অস্ট্রিয়ায়, তিনি একজন বিশিষ্ট সমাজকর্মী, রাজনীতিবিদ ও লেখিকা ছিলেন, যিনি ক্রমশ জায়নবাদে আগ্রহী হয়ে ওঠেন। তিনি ভিয়েনার ইহুদি ন্যাশনাল পার্টির অন্যতম প্রধান সদস্যা হিসাবে ১৯২৩ সালের মে মাসে ভিয়েনায় অনুষ্ঠিত ইহুদি মহিলাদের প্রথম বিশ্ব কংগ্রেসে সংগঠিত ও সক্রিয়ভাবে অবদান রেখেছিলেন।[১] তিনি ১৯২৫ সালে শিকাগোতে আমেরিকান ইহুদি কংগ্রেসে উদ্বোধনী অধিবেশনে বক্তব্য রাখেন। তিনি ১৯৩৫ সালে ফিলিস্তিনে চলে আসার পর, মিজরাহি মহিলা সংস্থার সদস্যা হন, মহিলা সমাজসেবা প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন এবং তার কল্যাণমূলক কাজ চালিয়ে যান, যা প্রধানত শিশু ও অভিবাসীদের নিয়ে পরিচালিত হয়েছিল।[২][৩]

জীবনী

১৮৯০ সালের ৬ জুন ভিয়েনায় জন্মগ্রহণকারী, অনিতা রোজেনজুইগ ছিলেন বণিক সলোমন রোজেনজুইগও তার স্ত্রী সোফি নি স্কেনবেলের কন্যা। একটি ভাল ইহুদি বাড়িতে বেড়ে ওঠা, তিনি ভিয়েনা বার্গারশুল বা হাই স্কুল এবং ব্রেসলাউয়ের ভন হোয়েনিগার বোর্ডিং স্কুলে পড়াশোনা করেছেন বলে মনে করা হয়। তারপরে তিনি ভিয়েনার পেডাগোগিকুম বা শিক্ষক প্রশিক্ষণ কলেজে দুই বছর কাটিয়েছেন, যেখানে তিনি স্কুল শিক্ষক হিসাবে যোগ্যতা অর্জন করতে পারেন।[৪]

তিনি ১৯০৯ সালে একজন ব্যবসায়ী আর্নল্ড মুলারকে বিয়ে করেছিলেন, তাদের ব্ল্যাঙ্কা নামে তার একটি মেয়ে ছিল, যিনি ১৯৩৮ সালে মারা যান। ১৯২১ সালের আগস্টে তাদের বিবাহবিচ্ছেদ হওয়ার পরের অক্টোবরে তিনি স্যামুয়েল কোহেনকে বিয়ে করেন, যিনি একজন বণিক, যার সাথে ১৯২৮ সালে রুথ নামে একটি মেয়ে জন্মদেন, দুই মেয়ে এলিয়েজার ও এস্টার ছাড়াও, তিনি পরিবারে নিয়ে এসেছিলেন।[২][৪] তিনি পুনরুদ্ধারের সময় শিশুদের সাথে সুইজারল্যান্ডে থাকার সময় একজন প্রখর জায়নিস্ট কোহেনের সাথে দেখা করেছিলেন। বিবাহটি অনিতা মুলার-কোহেনের জায়নবাদে নিজের আগ্রহকে উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে শক্তিশালী করেছিল।[৫]
