Разліў нафты на нафтаправодзе «Кістоўн» (2022)

7 снежня 2022 года на нафтаправодзе «Кістоўн  (англ.) (бел.» кампаніі «TC Energy  (англ.) (бел.» адбыўся буйны разліў больш за 14 тысяч барэляў нафты. На момант здарэння гэта найбуйнейшы разліў нафты на «Кістоўн»[1] з трох падобных інцыдэнтаў з моманту адкрыцця сеткі ў 2010 годзе[2] і адначасова найбуйнейшы ў ЗША з 2013 года[3].

Разліў

У 21:00 7 снежня па мясцовым часе кампанія «TC Energy» запусціла аварыйны прыпынак трубаправода «Кістоўн» з-за падзення ціску[4]. Агенцтва па ахове навакольнага асяроддзя ЗША  (англ.) (бел. пабудавала земляную дамбу, каб стрымаць разліў[1]. Уцечка была выяўлена недалёка ад акругі Вашынгтон  (англ.) (бел., штат Канзас, і вылілася ў ручай Міл-Крык, які ўпадае ў раку Літл-Блю  (англ.) (бел.[5]. Указанне аб эвакуацыі не аддавалася[6]. Для ліквідацыі наступстваў аварыі «TC Energy» накіравала 100 чалавек[3].

Уцечка выклікала занепакоенасць у эколагаў з-за перадачы па нафтаправодзе бітумінозных пяскоў  (руск.) (бел., якія больш таксічны за сырую нафту, і могуць тануць у вадзе[1].

Эканамічныя

Цана на сырую нафту пасля закрыцця трубаправода «Кістоўн» вырасла на 5%[4], а «TC Energy» абвясціла форс-мажор  (англ.) (бел.[7]. Усе работы на нафтаправодзе спынілі. Закрыццё прывяло да абмежавання паставак канадскай нафты на амерыканскія нафтаперапрацоўчыя заводы[8].

Расследаванне

Упраўленне бяспекі трубаправодаў і небяспечных матэрыялаў  (англ.) (бел. пачало расследаванне ўцечкі[4]. Агенцтва аховы навакольнага асяроддзя накіравала двух каардынатараў, якія ўстанавілі, што нафта не трапіла ў крыніцы пітной вады, таму яна ў раёне акругі Вашынгтон не пацярпела[9].
