Біяграфія

Скончыў Мінскі медыцынскі інстытут (1963). У 1963—1966 гг. у Міністэрстве сацыяльнага забеспячэння БССР, з 1969 г. у Інстытуце мастацтвазнаўства, этнаграфіі і фальклору НАН Беларусі. Вывучае заканамернасць зменлівасці генетыка-антрапалагічных і адаптыўных тыпаў, генадэмаграфічных працэсаў сярод насельніцтва Беларусі і сумежных тэрыторый. Адзін з аўтараў прац «Нарысы па антрапалогіі Беларусі» (1976), «Антрапалогія Беларускага Палесся» (1978), «Біялагічнае і сацыяльнае у фарміраванні антрапалагічных асаблівасцяў» (1981), «Спадчынныя і сацыяльна-гігіенічныя фактары даўгалецця» (1986).

Прэміі

Дзяржаўная прэмія Рэспублікі Беларусь у галіне навукі і тэхнікі (1998, у сааўтарстве) — за цыкл прац «Чалавек і яго біякультурная адаптацыя».
