Фрызскі конь

Фрыз, фрызскі конь — парода коней родам з Галандыі. Адзіная чыстакроўная галандская парода. Выведзена ў XVI—XVII стагоддзях шляхам скрыжавання iспанскіх коней з пераважна рэгіянальным, халоднакроўным тыпам у перыяд акупацыі Нідэрландаў іспанцамі.

У пачатку XVIII стагоддзя верхавая язда паступова страціла сваю значымасць у заможнага насельніцтва, арыстакратыя пачала аддаваць первагу элегантным, лёгкім карэтам, што патрабавала прыдатных для гэтага коней. Так, фрызская парода паступова станавіліся карэтнай, саступіўшы сваё «верхавое» первенства больш спрытным і лёгкім прадстаўнікам іспанскіх парод. Пачынаючы з 1800 года фрызская парода паступова выйшла з моды, а развядзенне чыстакроўных фрызаў прыйшло ў заняпад.

У 1910 годзе пагалоўе племянных жарабцоў упала да чатырох коней, праз тры гады іх колькасць знізілася да трох, засталіся толькі жарабцы Прынс 109 (Prins 109), Альва 113 (Alva 113) і Фрызо 117 (Friso 117). У Нідэрландах зразумелі, што вымірае не толькі сельскагаспадарчая рабочая жывёла, але таксама і частка галандскай гісторыі — фрызскі конь быў і застаецца адзінай чыстакроўная пародай коней Галандыі.

Да 1996 года фрызаў пазначалі вытатуіраваным на языку знакам, сёння ў гэтых мэтах выкарыстоўваюцца чыпы.
