Васіль Канстанцінавіч Зыль (20 красавіка 1902, вёска Востраў[1], Смалявіцкі раён, Мінская вобласць — 4 снежня 1973) — Герой Савецкага Саюза.

Біяграфія

Нарадзіўся ў сялянскай сям'і. З 1916 года працаваў пільшчыкам лесу ў Мінску. З 1921 года жыў у роднай вёсцы, дапамагаў бацьку ў сельскагаспадарчых працах. У 1923 годзе добраахвотнікам сышоў у Чырвоную Армію. У 1925 годзе быў накіраваны ў Маскоўскую артылерыйскую школу імя Красіна, якую скончыў у 1929 годзе. У 1927 годзе стаў камуністам. У 1931—1933 гадах вучыўся ў Ваеннай артылерыйскай акадэміі. У час Вялікай Айчыннай вайны ў баях удзельнічаў з чэрвеня 1941 года на Заходнім, Калінінскім, Паўночна-Заходнім, Сталінградскім, Данскім, 1-м Украінскім франтах.

Камандзір 299-га гвардзейскага танкавага корпуса гвардыі палкоўнік Васіль Канстанцінавіч Зыль здзейсніў подзвіг 25 студзеня 1945 пры фарсіраванні ракі Одэр. Полк пад яго камандаваннем першым пераправіўся праз раку, захапіў плацдарм на другім беразе, умацаваўся на ім і мінамётным агнём па праціўніку садзейнічаў наступу пяхотных падраздзяленняў. 10 красавіка 1945 г. Васілю Канстанцінавічу Зылю было прысвоена званне Героя Савецкага Саюза.

Пасля заканчэння вайны Васіль Канстанцінавіч служыў у войску, у званні палкоўніка.

Памяць

Яго імем названы школа і вуліца ў Цярнопалі, школа ў Калінінградзе. З'яўляўся ганаровым грамадзянінам горада Волхаў Арлоўскай вобласці Расійскай Федэрацыі.
