Аса (іўр.: אָסָא) — цар іўдзейскі, сын і пераемнік Авіі.

Біяграфія

Паводле Бібліі, валадарыў 40 год. Быў набожным царом, разбураў паганскія ахвярнікі і капішчы, знішчаў статуі паганскіх багоў Ваала і Астарты. Аса займаўся ўмацаваннем гарадоў і войска, сабраў пад сваю ўладу шмат яўрэйскіх плямён. За прыхільнасць да культу Астарты пазбавіў сваю маці царскай улады і спаліў яе куміра — статую гэтага бажаства[2].
