Professor Əziz Əl-Əzmeh (d.24 iyul 1947, Dəməşq, Suriya) — orta əsrlər və müasir dövr ərəb və İslam tarixinin tədqiqatları üzrə mütəxəssis. Bu mövzulara dair Mərkəzi Avropa Universiteti, Beyrut Amerikan Universiteti, Yel, Kolumbiya, Ekseter, Kornel, Oksford, Corctaun, Berkli Kaliforniya universitetlərində, Ağa Xan Universitetinin Müsəlman Sivilizasiyalarının Tədqiqi İnstitutunda mühazirələr verir. Öz sahəsi üzrə dünyada qəbul olunmuş aparıcı tədqiqatçılardandır.[2]

Şərq tədqiqatları üzrə fəlsəfə doktoru dərəcəsini Şri-Lankanın Müqəddəs Entoni Kollecində və Oksford Universitetində alıb, Tübingen və Pensilvaniya universitetlərində oxuyub.
