VizieR

VizieR — Strasburq Astronomiya Məlumat mərkəzi tərəfindən verilən bir astronomik kataloq xidməti.

VizieR Kataloq Xidmətinin mənşəyi 1993-cü ilədək ESA Avropa Space İnformasiya Sistemi Kataloqu Brauzerindən gəlir. Əvvəlcə Kosmik Elm cəmiyyətinə xidmət etmək üçün nəzərdə tutulan ESIS layihəsi, World Wide Web-i heterojen kataloqlar və məlumatların birbaşa çıxışına imkan verən bir verilənlər bazası kimi qabaqcadan təqdim edir.

Strasburq Astronomiya Məlumat mərkəzi illərdir toplamış və astronomik məlumatları yaymışdı, buna görə orijinal ESIS Kataloq Brauzer CDS-də ötürülmüş və saxlanılmışdır. VizieR, 1996-cı ildə qurulduğu gündən etibarən astronomik jurnallarda müntəzəm olaraq nəşr olunan kataloqlanmış məlumatlara daxil olmaq üçün tədqiqatlar aparan astronomlar üçün bir istinad nöqtəsi halına gəldi. Yeni VizieR xidməti, 1997-ci ildə CDS tərəfindən yeniləndi və bu, imkanları və məlumatların həcmini axtarmaq üçün cəmiyyətə daha yaxşı xidmət göstərmək idi. 2012-ci ilin mart ayından etibarən 9800-dən çox kataloqdan ibarətdir.[1]

VizieR kataloqu Astrofizika Virtual Rəsədxanasının bir hissəsi kimi indi əsas məlumat mənbəyidir.
