Sərhəd zastavası

Sərhəd zastavalarının ərazilərində də mövcud olan müşahidə qülləsi

Sərhəd zastavası suveren dövlət tərəfindən özünün dövlət sərhədində saxlanılan postdur. Sərhəd nəzarəti, sərhəd mühafizəsi qonşu dövlətlə sərhədi müşahidə etmək və mühafizə etmək məqsədilə yaradılır.[1] Sərhəd mühafizəçiləri və yaxud da digər adı ilə sərhədçilər bu cür missiyalar zamanı istifadə edilirlər və onların daimi olaraq təşkil etdikləri sərhəd patrulları radio əlaqələr vasitəsilə bir-birləri ilə əlaqə saxlayırlar. Sərhəd zastavaları bəzən bir sıra inzibati binalarda, yaşayış binalarında və yaxud da çadırlarla ola bilər. Sərhəd zastavalarında silah-sursat anbarları, səngərlər, sığınacaqlar, məftillərlə və gözətçi qüllələri ilə möhkəmləndirilmiş olan pulemyot məntəqələri, gömrük keçid məntəqələri, sərhəd sədləri və insan postları ola bilər.[2]
