Biografía

Nacíu en New Hyde Park, Nueva York (Estaos Xuníos), el so nome completu yera Wally Van Norstrand. Debutó nel cine en 1913 con When Mary Grew Up, un filme de la productora Vitagraph Company of America que protagonizaba Clara Kimball Young. A lo llargo de la so carrera, Van actuó en 75 filmes ente 1913 y 1925, dirixendo 42 producciones ente los años 1914 y 1925.

Finó n'Englewood, Nueva Jersey (Estaos Xuníos), en 1974, a los 93 años d'edá.
