Guillermo Quintero Calderón (1832, Santander – 1919, Quintero) foi un militar y políticu conservador colombianu nacíu en Puertu Nacional actual Puerto Viejo (Cesar) en 1832.

Empecipió la so carrera militar combatiendo la dictadura de José María Melo so les órdenes l'ex-presidente Tomás Mosquera. Algamó'l grau de xeneral dempués de participar en delles de les guerres civiles asocedíes na dómina, hasta qu'empezó a ocupar cargos políticos, como'l de gobernador de Santander en 1888, representante a la cámara y senador. N'exerciciu del comandu del Exércitu Nacional, foi escoyíu designáu presidencial el 1 d'abril de 1894, posición dende la cual asumió la presidencia de la república pola llicencia que-y foi concedida al presidente Miguel Antonio Caro a partir del 12 de marzu de 1895.

Quintero designó como ministros al xeneral Pedro Antonio Molina en guerra, José María Uricoechea en rellaciones esteriores, Francisco Groot na ayalga, José Manuel Marroquín Ricaurte n'instrucción pública y Abraham Moreno en gobiernu. La inclusión d'esti postreru nel gabinete desamarró una repitida protesta nel partíu conservador, que con insistencia se quexó d'esa situación con Caro, quien, fadiáu poles voces en contra de la decisión de Quintero, decidió reasumir el poder el 17 de marzu, cesando'l mandatu concedíu a Quintero. El xeneral, agora ex-presidente, foi nomáu pola oposición como candidatu presidencial, pero foi ganáu pol vieyu Manuel Antonio Sanclemente, mandatariu que foi derrocáu en xunetu de 1900 por un movimientu nel que Quintero foi protagonista.

El golpe d'estáu alzó a la presidencia a don José Manuel Marroquín, que fuera ministru d'instrucción de Quintero. El nuevu gobernante nomó a Quintero na cartera de gobiernu, pero la designación del xeneral Aristídes Fernández na cartera de guerra llevó a Quintero a dexar el so cargu.

El xeneral participó de l'Asamblea que reformó a la Constitución en 1910 y fixo parte del partíu republicanu que gobernó hasta 1914. Quintero finó en 1919 a los 87 años.
