L'escudu d'A Veiga (Asturies) presenta una representación acuartelada.

  • El segundu cuartel partíu, enseña un castiellu de piedra, flanquiáu de dos palmes, del que florez un aigla prita na parte cimera, somontada del cuernu de l'abondanza. Esto representa al escudu de Castropol, antiguu gran conceyu al que perteneció A Veiga hasta 1836.
  • Nel tercer cuartel partíu, vense un castiellu (Suarón) sobre un monte, en referencia al poder qu'exerció na antigüedá.

Al timbre corona real, abierta.

Ye emplegáu pol ayuntamientu ensin sanción llegal, tomando como referencia l'emblema inventáu por Bellmunt y Canella pa la so obra Asturies, y na que tomen los elementos más representativos de cada conceyu. Anguaño l'escudu presenta la única esceición de l'emplegu de la corona real, en cuenta de la del príncipe qu'usaran ellos.
