Last month I nominated the article about Elizabeth of Bosnia for FA status, but it has not attracted enough reviewers yet. Elizabeth governed or directly influenced much of central Europe in the 1380s, but ended up losing her head. The article (rated GA) is of interest to WikiProject Middle Ages, and I would be very grateful if a member of this WikiProject commented on the nomination. There have been a number of suggestions like this in recent years, but it remains controversial. And no, we should not normally use primary sources, but wait for secondary ones. The "Causes" section of Black Death has long covered the arguments as to what it was and how it spread, and I see someone has already added this story, probably prematurely. Hi all,
My name is Adi Khajuria and I am helping out with Wikimania 2014 in London.
One of our initiatives is to create leaflets to increase the discoverability of various wikimedia projects, and showcase the breadth of activity within wikimedia. Any kind of project can have a physical paper leaflet designed - for free - as a tool to help recruit new contributors. These leaflets will be printed at Wikimania 2014, and the designs can be re-used in the future at other events and locations.
This is particularly aimed at highlighting less discoverable but successful projects, e.g:
• Active Wikiprojects: Wikiproject Medicine, WikiProject Video Games, Wikiproject Film
• Tech projects/Tools, which may be looking for either users or developers.
• Less known major projects: Wikinews, Wikidata, Wikivoyage, etc.
• Wiki Loves Parliaments, Wiki Loves Monuments, Wiki Loves ____
• Wikimedia thematic organisations, Wikiwomen’s Collaborative, The Signpost
The deadline for submissions is 1st July 2014
For more information or to sign up for one for your project, go to:

Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. Please review the proposal here and leave feedback. If you have any questions, you can ask on the proposal page or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you for your time! (Also, sorry about the posting mistake earlier. If someone already moved my message to the talk page, feel free to remove this posting.) This article from the Observer points out that it will be the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta next year (15 June 2015) and suggests there will be various TV and radio programmes (and books etc) to coincide with the significant date. I note this article regularly gets 150,000+ page views per month and this is likely to increase. Would it be worth trying to get a collaboration going to get it to at least GA or even FA standard before the anniversary?— Rodtalk18:50, 3 November 2014 (UTC)__DTREPLYBUTTONSCONTENT__-->__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2014-11-03T18:50:00.000Z","author":"Rodw","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Rodw-2014-11-03T18:50:00.000Z-Magna_Carta","replies":[],"displayName":"Rod"}}-->

The Medieval Household article looks like it's been hacked about a bit in the middle. There's quite a bit of text written in this style: "You think, it's the middle ages of course it is going to be the Lord of the house, as it is he who represents the house in politics both local and in the royal court, it is also the man who is the face of the house, he who holds the purse strings and all that rot." Thought I'd leave a note here so one of you experts can take a look and see what should stay and be cleaned up, and what should go.
