...Gwell fyth yn Pyrate er bod llawer o hynny yn siarad lleferydd anffurfiol yw llawer o hynny ac nid yw'n cyfieithu'n rhy hawdd i'r Gymraeg. Wedi dweud hynny, mae Cymru'n enwog am ei môr-ladron, "The Great Pyrate" Black Bart (Cymraeg: Bart Ddu) er enghraifft, sy'n od.
Er enghraifft, mae'r ymadrodd Pyrate "Aargh, Jim lad... shiver me timbers!" a ddefnyddir gan Long John Silver yn Treasure Island yn cyfieithu i'r Gymraeg fel "Aargh, Jim bachgen crynur coed i mi!", sydd yn ei dro yn cyfieithu yn ôl i'r Saesneg fel: "Aargh, Jim wood-shaking boy for me!"
Yn agored i gamddehongli, go brin mai dyma oedd gan RLS mewn golwg wrth ysgrifennu "The Sea Cook: A Story for Boys", a ddaeth yn Tresure Island yn ddiweddarach. Ond dyma'r math o beth all gael cyfieithwyr i drafferthion.
