History
The first written mention about Troubky is from 1348. Until 1380, Troubky was a separate estate with a fortress. From 1380 until 1848, the village was part of the Tovačov estate and shared its owners. Among the most important owners of the estate were the Tovačovský of Cimburk family and the Pernštejn family.[2]
The municipality was severely affected by 1997 Central European flood, in which nine people died and 150 houses were destroyed.[3] Thirteen years later, in 2010, Troubky was flooded again.
