As of August 1, 2008, with the geographical expansion, Hanoi, Vietnam, jumps from 167th position to 44th position with population of 6,232,94[1]. A change in administrative boundaries does not automatically result in a change in urban area boundaries. I noticed that all of the metro area links are linked to the cities. Since we are listing urban areas, shouldn't the metro area be linked instead? There is a discrepancy between this template and the data in the List of urban areas by population as compiled by Demographia. Is there a reason for that or did it just run out of sync? If there are no objections, I'll update this template to match Demographia's 2012 data.
