Wikipedia:Navigation templates#Alternatives specifically discourages navigation boxes for a succession of people holding a position. I'm of the opinion that the uses of this navigation box would be better served by a combination of the existing succession boxes and an as-of-yet-uncreated category. That said, my opinion is ready to be changed.
