This template is not up-to-date. The SNH website lists 40 and "Isle of Mull" for example is not one of them. I will have a go at tarting it up asap. If anyone has an idea as to the logic of the order of the existing list that would be helpful. It looks pretty random to me and might be better in either alphabetical or geographical order. Scottish Natural Heritage now organises their list by council area (with the exception of the two national parks). Have reorganised by council area only, for consistency. Am pretty sure that the designated Cairngorms area (unlike Cairngorms National Park, which also extends into Argyll and Bute and Perth and Kinross) does not extend into Aberdeenshire, but if anyone has evidence, please add to that council area.
