Taylen Green (born October 18, 2002) is an American football quarterback for the Arkansas Razorbacks . He previously played for the Boise State Broncos .
High school career
Green attended Lewisville High School in Lewisville, Texas . As a junior, he passed for 2,217 yards and 25 touchdowns.[ 2] He committed to Boise State University to play college football.[ 3]
College career
Boise State
Green played in two games as a backup to Hank Bachmeier his first year at Boise State in 2021.[ 4] He started 2022 as the backup to Bachmeier, before becoming the starter.[ 5] [ 6] [ 7] [ 8] In his first career start, he passed for 48 yards but rushed for 105 with two touchdowns.[ 9] Green led Boise State to the 2023 MWC championship, and was named the MWC championship game MVP. He entered the transfer portal on December 4, 2023.[ 10]
Arkansas
On December 11, 2023, Green announced he was transferring to Arkansas . [ 11] In his debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff , Green threw for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, as well as 88 yards and another 2 scores on the ground.[ 12]
