The Stairway to the Sky Tour is the ongoing debut concert tour by English singer Zayn, in support of his fourth studio album, Room Under the Stairs (2024). The tour commenced in Leeds, England, on 23 November 2024, and is set to conclude on 4 February 2025 in San Francisco, California, consisting of 20 shows.
Background
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on 18 September 2024, Zayn announced the tour, with 11 shows across North America and Europe from October to December 2024.[1][2][3][4][5] The following day, additional concerts in New York City, Edinburgh, London, Manchester and Leeds were announced due to demand.[6] On 19 October, following the death of Liam Payne three days prior, Zayn announced the postponement of the concerts in the United States to January 2025.[7][8][9] Four days later, the rescheduled concerts were announced.[10][11][12] The following month, he announced the two concerts in Edinburgh were rescheduled, citing "unforeseen circumstances".[13][14] The 3 December concert in Newcastle, England, was cancelled twenty minutes after the singer was due on stage, with Zayn citing that his voice "just isn't there at all tonight."[15] On 10 December 2024, additional concerts in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco were announced, due to demand. LAPD and Hope Tala were announced as supporting acts for concerts in the United States, with the latter performing at select dates.[16]
