Sharafkhaneh (Persian : شرفخانه )[ a] is a city in the Central District of Shabestar County , East Azerbaijan province, Iran .[ 4] Sharafkhaneh is situated on Lake Urmia .
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 3,872 in 1,132 households.[ 5] The census in 2011 counted 3,585 people in 1,133 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 4,244 people in 1,446 households.[ 2]
