Qaleh-ye Seyyed (Persian : قلعه سيد )[ a] was a village in Shamsabad Rural District of the Central District of Dezful County , Khuzestan province, Iran .
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 4,091 in 913 households.[ 4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,607 people in 1,142 households.[ 2]
After the census, the village of Shamsabad merged with the villages of Khalteh , Qaleh-ye Seyyed, and Shahrak-e Towhid to form the city of Shamsabad .[ 5]
