Nana Aba Anamoah (birth name: Rosemond Nana Aba McEwan-Anamoah,[1][2] born on June 19, 1980)[3] is a Ghanaian media personality.[4][5] Until her resignation from TV3, she presented the news and hosted top shows, including The Divas Show.[6] She's known as 'English Madam' on social media due her fluency in the English language.[7] She was the General Manager of GHOne TV and Starr 103.5 FM.[8][9] She is currently the director of business development for EIB network.[10][11] She is also the ambassador for women's football in Ghana.[12][13][14]

Anamoah is a member of the Women's Premier League committee in Ghana.[15][16][17] She is also a football fanatic who supports Manchester United and Accra Great Olympics.[18][19]

Education

Anamoah is a product of Ghana National College and has a background in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School. She also graduated banking and finance at GIMPA. She's taken up Executive Education courses including one in 21st Century Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School (Harvard University).[5][20]

Personal life

Nana Aba Anamoah is a Catholic. She gave up on her Medical School after knowing that she was pregnant.[26] She is a mother of one,[27] a son Jyotir, who attends school in the United States.[28]

Philanthropy

She is also known for her charitable endeavors; on 25 January 2022, she launched Hearts Wide Open, a foundation established to serve as a support system for those in need of funding for medical emergencies, school fees etc.[29]

In April 2023, Nana Aba supported a man financially who was offered a job in the United Kingdom but lacked funds to undergo medical checkup.[30]
