This list contains the top 50 accounts with the most followers on the social media platform Twitter, officially known as X. Notable figures such as Elon Musk, Barack Obama, Cristiano Ronaldo, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Narendra Modi are at the top of the list, each with over 100 million followers. As of October 2024, only seven accounts have surpassed this milestone, with Elon Musk being the only account to exceed 200 million followers.[1]
