The station operates on 103.9 FM with a focus on the Country format.
The station was assigned the KEBG call sign by the Federal Communications Commission on August 30, 2007.[3] The station was licensed by the FCC on December 2, 2009. In April 2011, the call sign was changed to KBGZ. The HD2 program has since been discontinued, and the station now exclusively broadcasts on the main FM frequency.
