Jamarion Wilcox is an American football running back for the Kentucky Wildcats .
High school career
Wilcox attended South Paulding High School in Douglasville, Georgia . As a senior, he rushed for 2,059 yards and 29 touchdowns.[ 1] He finished his high school career rushing for 4,119 yards and 58 total touchdowns.[ 2] A four-star recruit, Wilcox committed to play college football at the University of Kentucky over offers from Auburn , Clemson , and Ohio State .[ 3] [ 4]
College career
Wilcox redshirted in 2023, before competing for the starting running back job the following year.[ 5] Against Ohio , he rushed for 82 yards on eight carries.[ 6] [ 7] Against Tennessee , he rushed for then career-high 102 yards.[ 8] [ 9]
