Fehi Fineanganofo (born 31 August 2002) is a New Zealand professional rugby union player who plays as a wing for Super Rugby side Hurricanes, National Provincial Championship club Bay of Plenty and the New Zealand national sevens team.[1][2]
Early life
He attended Auckland Grammar School and played for the New Zealand Schools team in 2020.[3]
Club career
He plays domestic rugby union for Bay of Plenty Steamers at centre.[4]
In November 2024, he signed a two-year contract with Super Rugby side Hurricanes.[5]
International career
He made his debut for New Zealand national rugby sevens team in Los Angeles in 2023.[6] He signed a full time contract with the team for the 2024 season.[7][8] Described as New Zealand's "breakthrough star" of 2024,[9] he played as New Zealand won the Singapore leg of the 2023–24 SVNS in May 2024.[10]
He was selected for the 2024 Paris Olympics.[11][12]
