Biography
Daniela Ambrosoli is the daughter of the German dancer Sonja Bragowa (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonja_Bragowa ) and the Lombardy Ticino businessman Pierino Ambrosoli (https://www.pierinoambrosoli.ch ). Daniela Ambrosoli's father died when she was still young. She took over some of the companies he founded, including Camping Delta (https://www.campingdelta.com ) in Locarno, Switzerland which she is currently managing. In 1999 she founded Travel & Culture Management AG (https://www.moneyhouse.ch/de/company/travel-culture-management-ag-19788457171 ) in Zurich.
Daniela Ambrosoli is mainly known for the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation (https://www.ambrosoli.org ), which she founded in Zurich in 1990. This foundation promotes and supports the training of talented young dancers and musicians worldwide. To date, the foundation has supported hundreds of young artists as well as several institutions and companies. Now Daniela Ambrosoli becomes a board member of several international associations that are involved in the fields of dance and music (https://www.prixdelausanne.org/?s=daniela+ambrosoli ) as well as in the humanitarian and social field (e.g. Soroptimist International, Union Switzerland).

Politics
In the course of the vote on the Covid-19 law in autumn 2021, Ambrosoli appeared on voting flyers of the opposition and compared the measures in Switzerland through the democratically approved Epidemic Act with the seizure of power by the National Socialists and Fascists in the 1930s.

In 2011, the film was awarded the audience award for best documentary at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in Los Angeles. In 2017, "The Making of a Dream - Life as a ballet dancer" (https://tmoad.org ), was created, a film essay about dance, dancers and their lives, involving interviews with internationally renowned dancers, such as the Swiss actress Sabine Timoteo, a former dancer and scholarship holder of the Pierino Ambrosoli Foundation. From May 2018, "The Making of a Dream" ran for six weeks in the cinema Stüssihof (https://www.cineimage.ch/film/makingofadream/ ) in Zurich and was distributed worldwide by Taskovskifilms (https://www.taskovskifilms.com/film/the-making-of-a-dream/ ) London. In November 2018, the documentary "The Making of a Dream" was broadcast on the Ticino television station RSI (https://www.laregione.ch/cantone/locarnese/1333276/danza-costruzione-di-un-sogno ) in the Paganini show. In 2021, Daniela Ambrosoli produced the documentary "papa & dada" (https://www.papadadafilm.com ). The film investigates the question: How does starting a family as a couple of two men actually "work" and what does everyday family life look like? This documentary was also distributed by the film distributor Taskovskifilms London.
