This board includes an extensive curriculum, particularly in English, which covers a range of literary works, including Shakespearean plays such as The Merchant of Venice and The Tempest.[10] The English curriculum is divided into two examinations: English Language and Literature in English. The English Language examination tests a candidate's fundamentals in linguistic learning, including various questions in areas such as Essays, Directed Writings, Reading Comprehension and Basic Grammar Skills.[11]
