Played by a team of "stars" (consisting of four celebrity panelists also assigning as guest artists),[a] the "invader(s)" (consisting of 18 mystery singers summoned in batches)[a] must attempt to convince guest artists by performing a lip sync of their own over the course of first three rounds. If the guest artists guessed the mystery singer right, they scored one to three points (depending on round), otherwise the "invaders" score the same points if they guessed wrong.
At the final round, the highest-scoring team has deliberated to guess whether a "surprise" mystery singer[a] is good or bad. If a team of guest artists or "invaders" guessed the "surprise" mystery singer right, they won 1,000,000 ₽; if either guessed wrong, the main prize is given to opposing team instead.[a]
Rounds
Throughout the game, all of mystery singers who have already summoned are now allowed to talk freely at the conclusion of performances.
Lip sync phase For the first three rounds, the mystery singer(s) perform a lip sync of their own; good singers mime to a recording of their own, while bad singers mime to a recording by someone else.
The first batch summons three mystery singers to perform a lip sync individually. Afterward, the guest artists have to identify if a mystery singer is good or bad.
For the second to fourth batch, a pair of mystery singers (six in total) perform a lip sync through a showdown, by donning on a specified occupation. Afterward, the guest artists have deliberated to select one possible bad singer for each batch.
For the fifth to seventh batch, a trio of mystery singers (nine in total) perform a lip sync, this time by impersonating a designated singer; this method is also applied from the showdown batches.
Dark horse (Russian: Темная лошадка)
The 19th entrant as a "surprise" mystery singer (dubbed the "dark horse"), is appeared on the "stage of truth" to interrogate on both guest artists and (a complete team of) "invaders".
Background
As part of CJ ENM's multiple licensing deals related to I Can See Your Voice with Fremantle dated back November 2020, Russian state-owned broadcaster VGTRK was one of them to acquire the rights for producing a local adaptation as Ya vizhu tvoy golos (Russian: Я вижу твой голос),[2][19] which began airing on 14 May 2021.[3] VGTRK was supposedly planned to renew for a second season,[20][6] but it was later decided to continue the show anyway neither of those companies have involved, which is actually considered a domestic response to their invasion of Ukraine.[1][7]
^ abcdFor the show's gameplay changes, based on playing time of an episode:[8]
The number of mystery singers are set to 19, including 18 "invaders" and a "surprise" entrant.
Actually, an "invader" or a "surprise"-based mystery singer[10][11] can perform freely without accompanying guest artist(s) for a duet;[12] these were introduced in the 8th[13] and 10th seasons[14] of original South Korean counterpart.
The number of rounds are set to four.
Also, these three lip sync rounds are conducted into nine separate, performing segments; solos, showdown, and trios.
The "dark horse" round partially used a "battle format" (adapted from Giọng ải giọng ai),[15][16] due to having all of 18 mystery singers as a full team.[17][18]
In case of (a team of) "invaders" winning the game, 1,000,000 ₽ is shared into 18 people, receiving with 55,556 ₽ each.
