Angelo Crescenzo (born 5 August 1993)[1] is an Italian karateka athlete who won a gold medal at the 2018 World Karate Championships.[2][3] He competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Men's −67 kg.[4] He won the gold medal in the men's 60 kg event at the 2023 European Karate Championships held in Guadalajara, Spain.
Life
He was born in Sarno.[1]
Crescenzo represented Italy at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.[5]
In November 2021, Crescenzo won the silver medal in the men's 60 kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[6]
Crescenzo lost his bronze medal match in the men's 60 kg event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria.[7] He won the bronze medal in the men's kumite 60 kg event at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States.[8]
Crescenzo won the gold medal in the men's 60 kg event at the 2023 European Karate Championships held in Guadalajara, Spain. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 60 kg event at the 2023 World Karate Championships held in Budapest, Hungary.[9]
