2023 FIBA U16 Women's European Championship Division B
International basketball competition
The 2023 FIBA U16 Women's European Championship Division B was the 18th edition of the Division B of the European basketball championship for women's national under-16 teams. The tournament was played from 10 to 19 August 2023 in Podgorica , Montenegro .[ 1]
Participating teams
First round
The draw of the first round was held on 14 February 2023 in Freising, Germany.[ 2] [ 3]
In the first round, the teams were drawn into four groups of five. The first two teams from each group advanced to the quarterfinals; the third and the fourth teams advanced to the 9th–16th place playoffs; the other teams advanced to the 17th–20th place classification group.
