Weekend Lover (Hanzi: 周末情人; Pinyin: Zhōu mò qíng rén) adalah film Tiongkok tahun 1995 yang menjadi debut penyutradaraan dari sutradara Lou Ye. Film ini dibintangi oleh pemeran Jia Hongsheng dan Ma Xiaoqing. Sesama sutradara Wang Xiaoshuai juga memainkan peran kecil.

Produksi

Weekend Lover menjadi film fitur pertama Lou Ye sejak lulus dari Akademi Film Beijing pada tahun 1989 dan terkenal karena memiliki tim produksi termuda dalam sejarah sinematik Tiongkok setelah dirilis.[1] Difilmkan dan diproduksi pada tahun 1993 dan 1994, setelah selesai, film tersebut dilarang selama dua tahun oleh sensor film Tiongkok; setelah pelarangan berakhir, Weekend Lover dirilis secara internasional pada akhir tahun 1995.[2][3]
