Taktik bola mati (Sepak bola)

Istilah taktik bola mati (bahasa Inggris: set piece atau set play) yang digunakan dalam sepak bola dan sepak bola rugbi mengacu pada sebuah taktik ketika bola dalam keadaan mati dan akan segera kembali dimainkan. Istilah ini digunakan saat bola mati berada di daerah pertahanan lawan.

Dalam kasus sepak bola, istilah ini biasanya digunakan untuk mengacu pada keadaan bola mati yang terjadi ketika tendangan bebas dan tendangan sudut, atau kadang-kadang lemparan ke dalam. Banyak gol tercipta melalui taktik bola mati, baik mencetak secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung. Tim yang mendapatkan ketiga keadaan tersebut akan berusaha memanfaatkannya menjadi gol dengan cara melakukan taktik bola mati tersebut. Dengan demikian, taktik bola mati merupakan keterampilan penting untuk bek dan penyerang biasanya menghabiskan banyak waktu dalam sesi latihan penuh, para pemain diajari cara pergerakan mereka agar tercipta peluang gol. Beberapa pemain mengkhususkan diri dalam taktik bola mati ini.
