Sonex Aircraft SubSonex JSX-1

Sub Sonex JSX-1 adalah jet eksperimental satu tempat dari divisi pengembangan "Hornet's Nest" Sonex Aircraft.

JSX-1 adalah tempat duduk tunggal, mesin tunggal, pesawat turbin serupa di desain untuk sebuah Sonex Aircraft Onex, dengan Sonex Aircraft Waiex gaya ekor Y. Diperkenalkan di Airventure 2009. Didukung oleh mesin turbojet PBS TJ-100 buatan Ceko dipasang di atas belakang pesawat, dengan knalpot keluar antara ekor Y. Tes pertama mesin SubSonex dicapai pada bulan Desember 2009. Mesin menghasilkan £ 240 (109 kg) daya dorong. SubSonex sekarang memiliki landing gear roda tiga dengan nosewheel manual ditarik[1][2][3][4] dan penerbangan diuji oleh pemain Jet-sailpane Bob Carlton pada bulan Agustus 2011.[5]

Pada AirVenture 2013 perusahaan mulai mengambil deposito sebesar US $ 10.000 pada kit produksi. Proyeksi harga kit adalah US $ 125.000.[6]
