Shushtar (bahasa Persia: شوشتر; juga di-Romanisasi-kan menjadi Shūshtar, Shūstar, dan Shooshtar)[2] adalah sebuah kota dan ibukota Kabupaten Shushtar, Provinsi Khuzestan, Iran.[3][4] Shushtar adalah sebuah kota benteng kuno, yang berjarak sekitar 92 kilometer (57 mi) dari Ahvaz, pusat provinsi. Kebanyakan kegiatan pertaniannya pada masa lampau timbul dari sistem irigasi yang terpusat di Band-e Kaisar, jembatan bendungan pertama di Iran.[5]
