Sekolah Seni Rupa Nasional di Kuba (Escuelas Nacionales de Arte, yang sekarang dikenal sebagai Instituto Superior de Arte) dianggap oleh para sejarawan sebagai salah satu pengabdian arsitektural paling menonjol dari Revolusi Kuba.[1] Struktur terakota dan bata berlangit-langit Catalan organik dan inovatif tersebut dibangun di bekas tempat klub country di subperkotaan bagian paling barat Cubanacán, Havana, yang dijuluki "Beverly Hills"-nya Havana dan saat itu dipegang oleh para pejabat Partai Komunis.[2] Sekolah tersebut dicanangkan dan didirikan oleh Fidel Castro dan Che Guevara pada 1961, dan tempat tersebut merefleksikan optimisme utopia dan perwujudan revolusioner pada masa-masa awal Revolusi Kuba.[3] Sepanjang tahun-tahun pemakaian aktifnya, sekolah tersebut menjadi inkubator utama bagi para seniman, musisi, pemeran dan penari Kuba.
